Mashal Ahmad: Selvmord i Pakistan
Kunstneren Mashal Ahmad fra Pakhtun-samfundet i Pakistan tager i en serie billeder afsæt i at antallet af selvmord i Pakistan synes at stige, mest blandt unge under 30. Desværre opgøres selvmord ikke i statistikker, men også kulturelle og religiøse holdninger gør det alligevel meget svært at få et overblik over problemets omfang. Især blandt kvinder ses en stigning i antal selvmord, associeret med problemer som seksuelle overgreb, fattigdom, ensomhed, arbejdsløshed og syre-angreb.
Hvis nogen synes at lys hud og blå øjne ikke ligner deres forestillinger om mennesker fra Pakistan, er det en fænotype som ikke er sjælden blandt Pakhtun-folket.

Skaberne af denne søde "OBS"-video blev overraskede over at det blev stor viral succes, med over 14 millioner visninger på en uge, bare på YouTube. Det er en del af en kampagne "Dumb Ways To Die", hvor de altså lykkedes med at få budskabet spredt langt ud over den oprindelige plan.
